When I started doing taxes, I was working a 9–5 where I poured in so much of my time, energy, and intellectual capital into an environment that just wasn’t healthy. Leadership was constantly under investigation, promotions were political, and the good ol’ boy network made growth almost impossible.
But even in that chaos, something in me said, “There’s more.”
My first year in tax prep was a whirlwind. I didn’t know much — I had to self-teach, research late into the night, and figure things out the hard way. But every client, every challenge, made me sharper and more certain that this was my purpose.
I’ll never forget one client — a single father who was several years behind on his taxes. He had just gone through a divorce, lost a parent, and was now caring for his disabled sister. He didn’t just need a tax preparer. He needed someone to listen, to take the weight off his shoulders.
When I got him caught up and even secured refunds for several of those years, he was in tears. And in that moment, I knew… this is what I was called to do.
My heart is for the single parents, working families, and small business owners who’ve been overcharged by big-box brands and underserved by a system that was never built with them in mind.
Too often, our community doesn’t understand how taxation truly works — or how they can use it to their advantage. I’m passionate about educating, empowering, and helping my clients make informed financial decisions that build long-term benefits, not just quick refunds.
Integrity means everything to me. I don’t cut corners or play games with the IRS. I use the system to my clients’ advantage — never to take advantage of the system.

And at the end of the day, my biggest motivation is my kids. Seeing them proud of their mom for building her dream — for turning something hard into something powerful — keeps me going.
I’m growing this business to create opportunities for others too — to mentor future tax pros and help them build their own paths to business ownership.
